Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown. Tonight wCw comes to you live from the thunderdome. So , be on the lookout for Mad Max. We begin our 2 month trek toward a new era here in wCw tonight. Vince McMahon has been revealed as the owner of wCw and The Undertaker was finally crowned The New World Heavyweight Champion at Armageddon. Randy Orton became the IC Champ while seemingly putting Cena on the shelf. Anything can and probably will happen here tonight.

Randy Orton Vs MVP & UltraMantis Black
1 on 2 Handicap No Tag
Randy Orton gets a chance to backup his claims of superiority against 2 guys hungry to make a name for themselves here in wCw.

Match 2
Shane McMahon(W) Vs Booker T(L)
1 on 1 normal
Vince McMahon announced earlier today that , over the next few weeks , he would be 'punishing' his son , Shane , for 'over-stepping' his bounds. It looks like Booker T is step one.

Match 3
Jeff Hardy(L) Vs The Miz(W)
1 on 1 normal
After Jeff called The Miz out on Monday , Vince put them in this match to see if they spark up their old rivalry.

Match 4
Chris Jericho(W) Vs CM Punk(L)
1 on 1 normal - If Punk wins , he gets a Submissions Only US Title Shot
Y2J has been getting under people's skin everywhere he goes. An angry CM Punk demanded a title shot but was instead given this match. Is 'The Straight Edge Superstar' on a path to glory ? Or is it a hopeless effort against 'The Ayatollah of Rock N Rolla' ?

Big Show Vs Brock Lesnar
1 on 1 normal - Winner becomes the # 1 contender to the IC Championship
Big Show has been steadily moving up the ranks. Lesnar wants some solo gold so everyone will stop saying he is the weak link in 'The Connection'. Winner gets an Intercontinental Title shot at No Mercy later this month.

DX (Triple H & X-Pac) Vs Stolen Money (Eddie Guerrero & Robert Roode)
2 on 2 normal Tag
No one knows quite what to expect from this match. Guerrero and Roode have never worked together before. But , 'The Game' and X-Pac have had their own issues of late. This could go either way.

Match 7
Mick Foley(L) Vs Heath Slater(W)w/ Brock Lesnar
1 on 1 normal with Manager
Heath Slater makes his in ring debut here in wCw after a very cocky first appearance. 'The Hardcore Legend' intends to teach him respect. But , who knows what will happen with the powderkeg , Brock Lesnar at ringside ?
